Review:
To say this book was a five star would be a crime this one is so unique and impressive that I HAD to give an extra star! This book is from my favorite publisher the IMMORTAL WORKS and I’ve been picking up their books from 2020, now I’m OBSESSED!
The story is a love story in a sci-fi land setup and the book is just AMAZING from its detailed descriptions to it’s impeccable lines that will make you SWOON and fall in love is just oh so special! Let me hit you with a quote to add to the element of intrigue!
πβ¦.. βIf you love somebody, you go back to them. You always find a way to go back to them.βπ
Piper Parish is the Princess of Capalon, sets on a mission to find her mother who taught her to sing in secret. Piper has a beautiful voice but Capalonians don’t sing it’s frowned upon actually, the only thing valued by the Capalonians is their knowledge and their marriage depends on intellectual genes and scores. It’s gonna be hard to escape Capalon even though she’s a princess, she has to plot and plan to get her mother again! When she does escape she is seeking an opportunity to get into the palace of Mondaria and she does find an opportunity and grabs to be one of the Kings 100 but she finds something else along the way. Will she be able to find her mother before the Mondarians find out that she’s a Capalonian and what happens if they find out that she’s a princess!? It’s a race against time to find her mother and get her back to Capalon!
A book that’s written so well that I can’t recommend it enough for you to read it! The characters are impeccably constructed with cute flaws that you’ll fall in love, cry with them and feel for them! I loved how the story progressed and had a steady plot and theme till the end, the friendship element is built up so beautifully, the romance is so cute and the way the book ends just has me wanting to go and pester the author for the next book! Can’t wait to read more from the author!!
