A tale which the author Vividly takes us into her world of STRANGE GODS, we have an eccentric plotline, ingenious characters and an unparalleled universe to walk into!
Being a second child is already a chore in itself but being the little sister to the perfect human on earth is next to impossible! Even though she is a planned child she feels like an outsider in her own home where her parents rarely talk with her and even if they do it’s not because they care. So basically except for the birth certificate indicating that she has a family she’s an orphan.
Laurel aka Spooky is sent to reform herself over the summer for the delinquents named Dodgson where it’s like juvie only they take the one thing you fear most! She accidentally stumbles into Carcass’ world after getting her first ever kiss and her universe as she knew it is crumbling to the ground!
Carcass’ character is a weird one because on one hand he’s selfish to the core and the next he’s…..kind and caring? Yeah I know and the weird fact is that he should eat an object to create it…. It gets weirder in the best of ways I promise 😉

Also I’m totally obsessed with this book also because I need the next book like YESTERDAY!! I loved this book and can’t wait to explore Alison Kimble’s world of imagination!!!
