Review

This is the third book in the Cursed Fae of Orphydice Manor and to say this book was EPIC is an understatement because firstly it was written by Jes and second it tells the tale of romance and heartache side-by-side.

Salma has been summoned by death but she can’t leave the Dusk court without Adom by her side but daytime Adom doesn’t even know who she is only nocturnal Adom knows who she is. She must go to Egypt to save all of Egypt as she too is a Pharaoh meant to rule by her sister’s side, she has to bargain with death while not sacrificing herself, and save Adom from the curse bond with Hades. Meanwhile trying to find a way to escape the marriage bond with Hades.

Adom, Lord of the Dusk and Master of the House of Orphydice, is slowly losing himself to Hades even though he’s put runes in place he has no other way than to magic to forget everything to save Salma and Hades not taking the kiss of the Duat from Salma. The voice in Adom’s head tries to control him but she tries to rise above sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and Hades wins.

Only the Storyteller has all the answers but she has to bargain her way to each and every detail because he seems to know a lot more than she thinks he does. Only a sacrifice will make Hades spare Adom’s life but Adom wants his beloved Salma to be spared but Hades has plans…. Will bargains with the Storyteller actually work?
